I started making costumes, props and set pieces as a hobby about 15 years ago. The inspiration for making these was originally born from a desire to make my son's Birthday Party that little bit more exciting and memorable. As he moved into theatre, dance and vocals through his schooling career and chose them as his main subjects, I followed along and initially volunteered my time to help out and make props. Over time I realised that there was a demand for an amateur prop maker to provide their services to schools for their theatre / drama programmes, small amateur theatre groups and Year 11 / 12 theatre students. In 2021, I helped to turn my son's visions and designs into a Victorian VCE TOP CLASS prop for his VCE Theatre exam.
